One of Litchfield Morris' latest projects is to design, code, test and host a content managed website for South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The website will allow non NHS staff who work as carers within the community to access various information on all aspects of the care they are giving. This includes financial information, health and well being and how to care for people with specific requirements. The site will also include a calendar of events, latest news a document download area.
The specific design requirements were laid down at the beginning of the project following a consultation with the Carers who will ultimately use the site. These carers have also had input through the initial visual development stage, and will be involved in future stages of the build. Some of the requirements included the ability to change the visual look of the site on the fly and view the website in an alternate colour style, also the site had to allow for user controlled text sizing. Instant access to help was given high priority by the brief and this will be achieved by a constantly visible area of the site containing all the different ways a carer can access further help an information, by telephone, text message, email and booking an appointment.
Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting project.
